Wild Willy!!!
"Our Willy is famous worldwide."

www.mucho-bravo.com

Hi Bud,
Well, we brush daily. Brushing in the morning, and spraying in the evening.

Breath has become much better indeed! And.... gums are not bleeding anymore!!! .

Willy had his last anesthesia when he was 8 years old in 2003. Things almost went wrong, as he stopped breathing almost completely. It was good he was in an extremely modern clinic where he was on heart- and breathcontrol. They had to give him oxygen, and help him breathing and it took about 30 minutes before they had him stable again. We were scared to death that he wouldn't make it!!

We were advised to never put him under anethesia ever again unless we had no other choice and something had to be done that could not be done without it.

Cleaning teeth under anesthesia was not an option for us any longer. The vet said the anesthesia probably would be more dangerous for Willy than his teeth built up with tartar. Of course we tried to keep them as clean as possible, and scaled them regularly too, but it didn't prevent the tartar building up slowly bit by bit.

He is 11 years old now, and we hope we can keep "the love of our life" with us for many years to come!

We are hoping to have found the product that would help in this. So far it looks good, and we most certainly will continue to use it and see how his teeth will look after a month or so. I'll keep you updated.

We brush his mom's (13 years old) teeth too every morning , and spray in the evening. And the same goes for two of Willy's daughters.

Our youngsters we only brush in the morning; they don't have tartar yet, but we hope we will be able to keep their teeth clean this way. They all have fresh breath now!

Best,

Mirabell

PS. We find the brushing more easy than the spraying. Our dogs hardly have any problems with the brushing..

Hi Bud,

That's a great story about Marina indeed. I can immagine you will put her story first on your website. Just keep "Willy" in case you need another "pet of the month".There might come another great story on your way again.

In the mean time I'll keep on brushing, Gums are becoming much better and overall all teeth of all dogs look better. Keep up the good work!!

All my best,

Mirabell

Hi Again--Bud, in answer to your question about the Havenese clubs!

Of course I'm familiar with the Havanese club(s) in America. I even went to the Havanese Specialty (BIG show!!) last year in Chicago. More than 300 Havanese were entered. I felt like I was in heaven!! It was the second time I was in America, the first time was in California, and I went to the Specialty then too. That was about 4 years ago or so.

Our Willy is famous worldwide
. He has lots of (mostly) grandchildren also in the States. There isn't a serious Havanese breeder that will not know him. How is that for being modest <HA>. But it's really true. We still have people asking for his offspring, but we retired him when he was 10 years old. You have to draw the line somewhere. Not that Willy agrees with our decision.....!!!

As a pet he is the very very very best though. He is a delight to have around. We really think he is a once in a lifetime dog. He is funny, intelligent, has lots of sense for humor, and he is the biggest cuddle ever. I sure hope he will be around for a long time yet.
He is one of the two older dogs, and do not want to put him under anesthesia anymore. I would prefer not to take that risk any longer. The other one is his mother. She will be 13 years old this coming Saturday.

I would feel honored if you would place Willy on your website.

All my best,

Mirabell
